The North Iowa Tractor Ride, presented by Auto Edge of Mason City and hosted by North Iowa Broadcasting, will roll along the River Bluffs Scenic Byway in N.E. Iowa for their 8th annual ride July 16th through the 18th, 2015.  The ride is a cooperative effort of 3 north Iowa radio stations, including 98.7 KISS Country in Mason City, 103.7 The Fox in Mason City, and 95.1 The Bull in New Hampton.

The 2015 North Iowa Tractor Ride, presented by Auto Edge, will kick off on Thursday, July 16th from the Fayette County Fairgrounds in West Union – headquarters of this year’s ride.  Over 150 tractors are expected to roll out of the fairgrounds for the ride along the Scenic Byway.

The ride will tour some of the most scenic areas in Northeast Iowa. Tractors will make stops at Klock’s Island Park in Fayette, home of Upper Iowa University, Viafield in Arlington, Elgin, the fort in Fort Atkinson and Ossian.  Participants will have the chance to take in stock car races at the Fayette County Fairgrounds on Friday evening.

Organizers say the area was picked due to the scenic views offered in the area.  Jamie Nelson, event organizer, said, “Riders will really enjoy this year’s route.  This part of northeast Iowa is one of the prettiest parts of state, and there are beautiful attractions everyone will want to see.”

Friday night the tractors will parade back to their overnight parking at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in West Union.  Residents of the area will be invited to come out and tour the tractors and enjoy the nostalgic machines.

The North Iowa Tractor Ride presented by Auto Edge is sponsored in part by Auto Edge, Manufacturers Bank and Trust, Petro Blend, Wold Tire Service, Bucks Recycling, Viafield, Norsemen Trucking, Holland Contracting, Stellar Truck and Trailer, Young Construction, Raaceolsen Photography and Fox Auction Company.
